Behind the Curtain

I like sweetness, a lot. In fact, I like it so much I'm surprised I still have all my real teeth--which I am wholly grateful for.

I like waking up and remembering my dreams because if I were to write a book composed of my dreams, the world would be blown away, literally. Because that's just how explosive they are.

I like everything about weddings. The planning from day one, the cake tasting, the wedding dress shopping; the jitters before, the tears during, the happiness after; the dancing shoes, the clean-up, and last but not the very least, even the bridezillas. Oh, trust me, they exist.

And I love you because God first loved me. He's just that beautiful and too awesome for words. At least too awesome for the words in my humdrum vocabulary.

I've blogged before, but never kept up with them seriously. Then one day, with a little push, a tiny light bulb sprung into my head. So I took that light bulb, went to the park, and said, "Well, why not?" Thus, this blog of everything and anything was given life, one that I plan on keeping for the rest of my life because I have nothing better to do than blog every day and every night. I usually have a lot to talk about in real life, so I thought why not share it with the rest of the world? Sharing is caring! Some people play music, some people draw, and some people write. And that's exactly what I do... I do all three. Allow this to be my source of relief from the stress and responsibilities of the adult world.

Let me say I have a strong infatuation with shopping. Almost obsessive. Probably obsessive. Time after time I tell myself to STOP! Don't look at the pretty shoes! But as the saying goes, a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do, isn't that right? Shoes, macarons, knit sweaters, LBDs, ultra moisturizing lotion, red nail polish, cups, colored sharpies, teddy bears, I <3 NY t-shirts...anything, you just name it; I'm here to share it all.

I will now embark on this lifelong sojourn called happiness. A man called William Morris, whom I do not know, said this: The secret of happiness lies in taking a genuine interest in all the details of daily life. So here I am, with this blog, about to make lasting memories. So that when the day comes and I forget how I once lived on this place called Earth, this--and my millions of photo albums--will be proof that I spent it living to the fullest.

Now, here is my story.
